In recent years it’s become clear that traditional publishing isn’t the only option for authors. Self-publishing is on the rise but, for many authors, the need for support remains the same.

I worked for a large publishing house and decided to use my skills gained as an Executive Assistant to help authors. Undertaking this role meant I wasn’t bound to one department, I was able to take an interest in all departments and their functions.

After extensive research, I noticed there are quite a few authors who aren’t active on social media, or who don’t have their profiles completed on Amazon Author Central, or whose websites are outdated.

Hiring a virtual assistant can give you the extra help you need from someone who understands the support an author needs. This can include plot research, formatting manuscripts into an eBook, managing social media profiles and adverts, keeping track of book sales and managing websites, right through to more traditional PA services such as diary and email management, arranging travel and accommodation.  Many more services are listed here.

I offer my services to all authors.
